Tadpole Crossing originated as a brick and mortar store in downtown State College in 1991. The store was a popular destination for locals and visitors. The original store closed its doors in 2005. During the summer of 2020, Tadpole Crossing began again as an online marketplace for gifts produced by women-owned businesses. Cathy Horner, of Boalsburg, PA was the original owner of the brick and mortar and is also the current owner of the relaunched brand. A selection of Tadpole Crossing's online offerings are also available in the Tadpole Crossing booth at Belle Mercantile in Bellefonte, PA. Come and visit us - either online or in Bellefonte.
